Since 2020, the World Day of the Portuguese Language is celebrated on May 5, and so is the anniversary of Cartas com Ciência.

In 2022, we celebrate with an event about equitable practices with researchers and also launch and discuss the materials translated to Portuguese on equitable practices in informal science education from yestem.org.
